We have some useful information to help you keep your fountain in top condition. With proper care your fountain will bring you years of enjoyment.

We suggest to using distilled water .It will keep your fountain running at peak performance. Most tap water contains mineral deposits, which can adversely affect the quality and look of your fountain over time. Calcium and other mineral deposits can leave a white crust that is difficult to remove as well as clog your pump causing it work harder and overheat.

喷泉内注入的水，我们建议使用蒸馏水，因为普通的自来水含有各种矿物杂质，这些矿物杂质将会残留在喷泉内壁，会堵塞喷泉的内出水口，导致水循环不通畅，影响喷泉的效果。同时，一些矿物杂质也会残留在水泵内，进而影响喷泉的使用寿命。

Before you turn on your fountains, we suggest to using a spray bottle with water to moisten the stone, glass, tile or acrylic surface so the water will travel down the face uniformly, a wet sponge wiped on the surface will work equally as well.

在您使用您的喷泉前，我们建议您对喷泉做一些清洁工作，清洗掉一些喷泉表里的灰尘，颗粒。

Fountain water will evaporate daily so keep your fountain filled constantly. Allowing fountain to run out of water will ruin the pump. Check fountain daily and refill it as needed.  Turn fountain off it you are planning on leaving it unattended for more than a few days. Note: The sound of your pump will tell you when the water level is excessively low, a labored sound from the pump means you should immediately refill your fountain's water supply.

水是会不断的挥发与流失的，由此我们建议您在使用过程中，定期的查看水量。足够的水量才能确保水泵的正常运行，不影响喷泉的效果。如果当喷泉内的水量不足时，要及时的添加；当您出行超过2天，请在您离开前拔掉水泵的插头，让您的喷泉停止运作。另外，当您能听到来自水泵的噪音时，那么就是在提醒您，喷泉内的水量不足，需要添加水量。

When refilling it is a good idea to turn your fountain off. Filling the water trough while you fountain is operating may cause excessive water stored in the tubing and water that is currently flowing over the surface to overflow if you turn your fountain off shortly after refilling.

当您为您的喷泉注入水或者添加水的时候，建议您拔掉水泵的插头，让喷泉停止运作。因为如果喷泉运作的时，水管里会储有一定的水量，这会让您对再注入多少水量把握失准，添加过多的水量，从而导致溢流情况。

Glass fountains require a different cleaning routine. Water left to dry on glass surfaces will leave marks. To clean the glass surface we recommend "CLR" (Calcium, Lime and Rust Remover) available in most drug stores and home improvement centers. Using a paper towel or cloth, wipe the glass surface to remove the hard water spots, making certain to keep the cleaner from coming in contact with any hand aged copper surfaces as this will remove the patina.

When starting your glass fountain is may be necessary to use a scrubby pad (similar to what you find on the back of your kitchen sponge) to help facilitate the water flowing evenly over the glass surface. After turning your glass fountain on, start at the top and gently rub the areas where the water is not flowing evening with the scrubby pad. Gently work your way down the glass till the water is covering the entire glass surface.

Although our fountains are designed not to splash, sweating from condensation and splashing droplets can occur. To avoid damage to fine surfaces or surrounding areas place your tabletop or freestanding fountain on a base or small spacers (if self leveling legs are not standard) to elevate it slightly. Allowing the air to circulate underneath the fountain will inhibit condensation from occurring and damaging the surface under your fountain.

Most pumps have some sort of inlet strainers or screens to ensure that small pebbles or other debris doesn't get into the pump and jam or damage it. Eventually, these screens will become clogged and the water flow will slow down. It is important to be observant and if you notice the water flow slowing down in your fountain, be sure and clean the pump before it clogs entirely. If it becomes completely clogged, it may overhead and burnout, and then replacement is necessary. If available refer to you pump instruction booklet. Depending on your fountain your pump is probably adjustable. Be sure and make a note of the adjustment position when you remove the pump for cleaning. In the process of cleaning, you may inadvertently change the adjustment and you will want to be able to set it correctly before you reassemble the fountain. This will save you some work. The entire cleaning process probably won't take more than a couple of minutes. Be sure to use distilled water in your fountain because hard water deposits can build up on the motor shaft or other parts of the pump and place an extra load on the motor, which may cause it to fail prematurely¡￡
